Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, not all of our services are running as they ordinarily would. We are proud to say we have offered every single person we support a service, albeit under different circumstances.
Our Day Service has been closed since March 2020, and remains closed until we receive guidance and clarity from Oldham Council about re-opening. We want to assure everyone that we support that we are always here to help in any way we can, and any individuals who require support should contact us either via email or phone and we will do our best to help in these uncertain and difficult times. We have been in communication with everyone who ordinarily receives support from ourselves, either via letter, phone call or face-to-face. Our staff are supplied with full PPE such as facial shields, surgical masks, disposable gloves, disposable aprons, shoe covers and hand sanitiser. We are reviewing our risk assessments, policies and plans in regular meetings and more frequent updates are available on our Facebook page
Current guidance September 2020 – Day service reopening gradually from 14th September. All service users who usually attend our day service are to respond to our reopening letter to request a place at the day service. This may mean that usual days/times of day service support are altered temporarily. Staff are now able to support individuals back on community activities, risk assessed on an individual basis where applicable.
